Introduce the anti-corrosion and drying skills of plywood

Mar 20, 2023

We all know that plywood should be properly pre-treated before anti-corrosion treatment, which is more beneficial for anti-corrosion to be able to be deeply and evenly distributed in the wood, but most of the current anti-corrosion treatments require the wood to remove the bark and dry it , mechanical processing, etc., today I will introduce the traditional anti-corrosion drying method of plywood.
1. Small cooking and drying treatment method: Due to the constraints of funds and equipment, some small-scale manufacturers generally use the method of putting the sawn wood in the pool for a period of time and then drying it in the drying room to process the construction wood. Square, but some wood such as chicken wing wood, improper treatment will affect the monotonous quality of the wood.
2. Thermal energy drying method, which uses boiler heat or electric energy to heat the wood, but it is difficult to control the humidity and wood moisture content in this type of drying, and improper drying will also lead to uneven release of wood internal stress, resulting in wood fiber structure damage. It needs a certain drying experience to meet the drying requirements, and it is suitable for drying of hard and heavy building wood such as chicken wing wood.
3. Steam drying treatment method. Due to the requirements of dry technology and mass production, manufacturers with a certain plan use boiler steam to degrease and dry at high temperature and high humidity, so that the moisture content of wood can meet the specified requirements. The selection of the drying standard of the building wood and the moisture retention of the wood are also different due to different materials. After steam drying, the moisture content of wood can generally meet the quality requirements. With the advancement of technology, there is also a vacuum drying method, but due to the high cost of technology and relatively rare equipment, domestic plywood manufacturers still use it less.
