Structural plywood and Non Structural plywood

Structural plywood and non structural plywood are two categories of plywood that differ in their intended applications and strength.

It is also less rigid and carries less weight than structural plywood, making it unsuitable for use in load-bearing structures.
One of the main differences between structural plywood and non structural plywood is their grading system. Structural plywood is graded according to its strength and stiffness, with the highest grades suitable for use in heavy-duty applications, while non structural plywood is graded according to its appearance, with the highest grades suitable for use in visible surfaces where aesthetics are important.
To ensure safety and compliance with building codes, it is important to use the right grade and type of plywood for each application. Structural plywood should be used in load-bearing structures such as houses, bridges, and commercial buildings, while non structural plywood is suitable for decorative and general purpose applications.
