Plywood and film faced plywood have the following differences:
Plywood is made by gluing together thin layers of wood veneer. It is a versatile material used in various applications such as furniture making, construction, and packaging. However, it has a relatively plain surface and is more susceptible to damage from moisture and wear.
Film faced plywood, on the other hand, has a layer of film or laminate on one or both sides. This film provides several advantages. It makes the plywood more resistant to moisture, abrasion, and chemicals. It also gives the plywood a smooth and decorative surface, which can enhance the appearance of finished products. Additionally, film faced plywood is often stronger and more durable than regular plywood, making it suitable for demanding applications such as construction sites and concrete formwork.
