How to choose the correct hollow particle board?

Hollow particle board, also known as bridge hole mechanical board, is an ideal core material for wooden doors. This product is a new type of green environmental protection product, which has the characteristics of good sound insulation effect, high flatness and convenient processing, and is very popular among wooden door enterprises. The test standards for hollow particleboard in my country are generally as follows: moisture content, length and dimensional change rate, water absorption thickness expansion rate, board density, board density deviation, static bending strength, internal bond strength and formaldehyde emission.
1. Look at the material
The base material is the key to the quality of hollow particleboard. Almost no enterprises in China use pure pine wood to process hollow particleboard. Generally speaking, good-quality companies use pine miscellaneous wood as the base material, that is, most of the pine wood and a small part of other tree materials. The quality of the hollow particle board depends on the characteristics of poplar wood such as high water absorption and easy deformation.
2. Glue
In fact, the manufacturing method of urea-formaldehyde glue is very simple. The simplest manufacturing method is a 3,000 yuan reactor that can produce glue. However, the production of environmentally friendly high-quality glue requires a lot of investment, including production equipment, testing equipment, production technology, quality and quantity of raw materials, etc.
Therefore, it is difficult for customers to distinguish, and once the environmental protection level of the product does not meet the standards, it will cause trouble.
3. Waterproofing agent
Generally speaking, there is a layer of wax on the surface of the particleboard, which is a waterproofing agent. There are two ways to use it:
(1) Spray wax on the surface;
(2) Add glue and sawdust and stir evenly.
The waterproofing agent determines the expansion rate of the hollow particleboard. Generally speaking, the hollow particleboard produced by correct use of waterproofing agent and high-quality waterproofing agent will not change after being processed into wooden doors, which is safer.
4. Production equipment and technology
The production method of hollow particleboard is extrusion type, and the improvement of this process in China is divided into two types:
(1) The machine is at a low position (domestic improved type). Typically, sheets are extruded and cut. Steel plates are not strong enough to be detected.
(2) The machine is placed in a high place (according to foreign technological process). Usually 6-7 boards are hung after extrusion. In this way, if the strength and toughness of the board cannot meet the requirements, the board will fall off. Therefore, the bond strength in panels produced by this method is generally relatively constant.
